Today Apple sent out invitations for it’s Wednesday, September 12th media event. The event will be held at the Yerba Buena Center in San Francisco and is scheduled to begin at 10:00 AM Pacific / 1:00 PM Eastern. The invitation contains the words “It’s almost here” and as only some may have noticed the number ’12′ is casting a fairly odd shadow of the number ’5′ hinting that the next iPhone will be known as the iPhone 5.
Rumour’s have been spreading in past weeks that Apple will be holding two separate media events to focus specifically on the launch two separate products. Word is that Apple will use next weeks September 12th event to announce the next-gen iPhone, new iPods & show a final preview of iOS6. Then sometime in October, Apple will host yet another event to launch the ‘iPad Mini’, new iMacs & 13inch retina display Macbook Pro. Weather or not this rumoured ‘second event’ does occur here’s a total list of what we can expect Apple to announce in the next coming weeks:
- Next Generation iPhone: (iPhone 5)
- iPad Mini
- New iPod’s
- Final Preview of iOS 6
- Updates to the iMac Lineup
- 13inch Retina Display Macbook Pro
After the event is over, before you know it rumours and speculation will begin on what Apple’s iPhone 6 will look like.
