Sony’s Gamescom 2013 Conference has just concluded. Missed the event? Here’s a complete wrap up of what went down…

  • New Gran Turismo 6 trailer shown – set for worldwide release on December 6th 2013.
  • Sony Pictures is developing a full-length feature film inspired by the GT franchise. Produced by Michael Deluca and Dana Brunetti.
  • LittleBigPlanet Hub coming free to PS3 – available later this year.
  • Football Manager 2014 coming to PS Vita
  • LEGO Marvel Super Heroes coming to  PS Vita
  • Killzone Mercenary launching September 4th on Vita
  • Tearaway launching November 22nd on Vita
  • Murasaki Baby announced for PS Vita
  • BigFest free-to-play game coming to PS Vita
  • FEZ and Velocity 2X also coming to PS Vita
  • Borderlands 2 coming to PS Vita.
  • Rogue Legacy will make its console debut on PS4 and Vita
  • Binding of Isaac: Rebirth will hit PS4 and Vita in 2014. They’ll be free for PlayStation Plus
  • N++ coming to PS4 this winter.
  • Volume, Mike Bithell’s followup to Thomas Was Alone, will debut exclusively on PS4 and Vita next year.
  • Guns of Icarus, a port of the PC airship shooter, will Vlambeer’s next game Wasteland Kings will make its exclusive console debut
  • Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number will make its exclusive console debut on PS4 and Vita in 2014.
  • Sony has announced a PS3 Grand Theft Auto V bundle. Included is a copy of the game, a 500GB PS3, and a Pulse headset. The package will hit in September alongside GTAV for $270 US. It also comes with a 30 day trial of PlayStation Plus.
  • Playroom Will Be Pre-Installed on Every PlayStation 4
  • New Music Unlimited app made especially for PS4
  • Partnership with Twitch will bring the app globally to PS4
  • Sony announces Molecule Studies, Naughty Dog & Sony Santa Monic are all working on unannounced PS4 titles
  • New Infamous: Second Son Trailer
  • Yves Guillemot from Ubisoft hosted a live demo of Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag which featured remote play on PS Vita

  • Hell Divers: a new Cross-Play title exclusive to PlayStation for 2014.

  • Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture: only on PS4, this is from indie developers The Chinese Room, award-winning makers of acclaimed title Dear Esther.
  • Rime: an open-world adventure puzzle game from Tequila Works
  • Sony has announced that Mojang’s Minecraft is coming to PlayStation 4 at launch. Also heading to PS3 and Vita, according to creator Markus “Notch” Persson.
  • Sony announces PS3 to PS4 game upgrade program. Gamers that buy Battlefield 4, Assassin’s Creed IV, Call of Duty: Ghosts, or Watch Dogs on Playstation 3 will be able to buy the Playstation 4 digital version for a “significantly discounted price”
  • Ubisoft announced that it is partnering with Sony and New Regency to develop their feature film based on the highly anticipated open-world action adventure video game Watch Dogs.

  • PlayStation 4 will release on November 29thth, 2013 in Europe and November 15 in the US and Canada.
  • PlayStation 4 has already surpassed 1 million pre-orders worldwide and will launch in 32 countries.
