It’s now been officially confirmed that the next instalment to the Assassins’s Creed franchise will be known as Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag. Black Flag is set in the Caribbean during the mid-late 17th century, & will be released on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC, Wii U, PS4 & other next-gen consoles. Development of the game began in the summer of 2011 with ‘pirates’ as their primary focus and making the game as historically accurate as possible. The game was originally set to be revealed on March 5th but various leaks lead the public to get a look at the game earlier than Ubisoft wanted.
“The year is 1715. Pirates rule the Caribbean and have established their own lawless Republic. Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag introduces Edward Kenway, a brash rebel Pirate Assassin. His fight for glory has earned him the respect of legends like Blackbeard…”
Edward Kenway is the new protaginst in AC IV: Black Flag, he has a daughter named Jenny with his first wife Caroline Scott. In 1725 he moved to London and had a son Haythem, Edward trained Haythem to become an assassin at a very early age.
“The main characters name is Edward Kenway, father of Haytham Kenway from Assassin’s Creed 3. Edward is known as a Privateer, Assassin and occasional pirate.”
